In 1999, I created a game concept called "Darknet" and made an animated movie, mostly to pitch the atmosphere of the game, though the character model and enviroment was decidedfully low-poly, and was built in purpose of showing real time graphics of the time. Same goes for the material and lighting - I tried to present this video as something we believed that we would have been able to develop at Housemarque back in 2000. Riina Autio posed as a reference model for the character, and provided the audio voice over. I did pretty much every step of the project myself on my own time, while working on Supreme Snowboarding 2 / Transworld Snowboarding. Sadly we could not sell the project. I am releasing the movie for public for the first time. I don't own the copyrights for the soundtrack, and this is presented as for portfolio / education purposes only.
