In 2024-2025 was part of a Toptal team creating a virtual supermarket for training and marketing purposes for a leading beverage manufacturer. Assignment lasted for 12 months.
I started by creating low-polygon realtime 3D assets of beverage products for a metaverse. Then I created supermarket assets, such as coolers and configurable coolers, and eventually interior 3D design for the Supermarket itself.
Tasks included performance optimization both for topology and assets, modeling lo-poly assets for ingame objects and hi-poly assets for texture baking, Maya was used for modeling and Substance Painter for baking, while Photoshop was used for texture editing.
Additional tasks included (but were not limited to) finding solutions on how to implement configurable 3D cooler sets, maintaining naming convention for asset database, interviewing new artists for the team and writing modeling and texturing guidelines and supervising junior artists.
In overall I created hundreds and hundreds of real-time polygon assets in tight deadlines while trying to maintain best possible quality.
